A closer look

What story could take place here?

An invented place has no memories, yet it can make us feel as though something has already happened there.

Monumental forms can create awe or isolation. Ruins imply forgotten histories. Unfamiliar light changes our sense of time. A quiet interior suspended before clouds can feel contemplative, uncanny, or full of possibility.

These images captivate because they do not complete the story. They give us just enough character to project ourselves inside: Who created this place? What happened here? Who might enter next?

Designing an imaginary space is also designing the feeling of an unwritten scene. Architecture becomes narrative—not by explaining the world, but by giving our imagination somewhere to go.
